WELCOME CEREMONY FOR FRESHER :

Every year the senior students of the Institute welcome the fresher (first year students) by hosting a party for them. The fun filled event is held at the PGI campus. Students from all the batches present cultural events and a Mr and Ms Fresher contest is held.

 

ANNUAL DAY :

The Annual Day is an event full of excitement and emotions. Prizes and certificates of annual events such as sports, cultural and quiz are distributed on this day. Parents of students receiving their degrees are also invited to grace the occasion. 

 

SPORTS AND CULTURAL MEET :

Various indoor and outdoor games along with various cultural events like singing, dancing, miming, rangoli etc are held.

 

QUIZ CONTEST:         

A Quiz competition is held every year to test and tease the brains of the students of the college.

LAMP LIGHTING CEREMONY

The lamp lighting ceremony formally recognizes the students’ entry into the nursing profession. Symbolically it has been celebrated with responsibility of promising the body of Nursing Profession. Therefore the first year Nursing Students are made to take the Oath of Florence Nightingale which is celebrated as ‘Lamp Lighting & Oath taking Ceremony’.

ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

Prativa Group of Institutions organize an orientation programme for the newly admitted aspirant at the institute premises in every year. The major objective of the programme was to make the students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the institute and ensuring parental cooperation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students throughout the course.

 

GRADUATION DAY AND FAREWELL
Graduation day brings with it a lot of joy, success stories and nostalgia. Every year this day is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and splendour to rejoice the achievements of each student who completes his stint at PGI and steps out with a determination to accomplish greater milestones in life. This day is completed by the farewell party to the seniors by the junior batch and is a mark of camaraderie and bonding they shared together over the bygone years. The brilliance of this day surely remains etched in the minds of every student who completes his professional education at PGI.

HEALTH CAMP :

The PGI oraganise health camp in different places. Peoples are treated and medicines are distributed at free of cost. For this noble work the institute is in receipt of several citations from District Administration.

OBSERVATION DAY

Republic Day, Independence Day, Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Diwali, Makarsankranti, Janmastami etc. are observed in college where students use to participate in various competitions like drawing, debate, cultural program etc.

HEALTH AWARENESS DAY

The PGI celebrate various health awareness days with rally, poster presentation and a short play by our students awareness against these diseases. Celebration of health awareness day-
